I was asked to design a special oak lamp for the bedroom, specifically for the area to the right and left of the bed. The crucial question was: what kind of light do you want in the bedroom?
Targeted lighting for a relaxed atmosphere
The lamp was designed so that the light beam is mainly directed downwards, which provides soft, focused lighting – ideal for cozy reading moments or relaxed evenings in bed. A small part of the light is thrown upwards in the form of „bull horns“, which provides an additional, subtle light accent without flooding the room.
Seamless grain thanks to miter cuts
The lamp is given a seamless grain thanks to precise miter cuts, which makes it appear like a single object made from a single piece. This detail not only ensures a natural aesthetic, but also makes the lamp a masterpiece of craftsmanship that fits perfectly into any modern bedroom.
Harmonious light cast thanks to detailed design
The lamp has two artistically designed holes on the sides that cast additional light into the room. To avoid glare, the holes were covered on the inside with rice paper, which gently scatters the light and creates a pleasant atmosphere.
Elegant light accent thanks to rose gold chalk paint
The special thing about this lamp is the rose gold finish on the inside, which gives the light a unique, warm color nuance. These elegant accents create a cozy atmosphere and underline the luxurious character of the lamp.
Versatile uses
Whether in the bedroom, living room, office or in a long hallway – this lamp is not only functional, but also a stylish design element that provides cozy light in every room and acts as an aesthetic highlight.
The advantages at a glance:
This lamp will not only enrich your bedroom, but will also provide pleasant lighting as a stylish design piece in various rooms.
